According to Greek literature, Aeolus was the god of wind. In 2011, the artist, Luke Jerram, captured the god of the wind into an experience for the public to listen to the sounds of mother nature speaking to us in a musical composition. The sculpture is made of silver pipes and string which allows the wind to vibrate like a harp. The sound effect is subliminal and other worldly and so the installation provides almost a spiritual connection to the landscape.
